My Story
Hi everyone! My name is Marianne and I started my journey back in July 2017. I assumed the same as most when it came to Scentsy..."it's just warmers and wax"...until I shopped my niece's website. I could not believe the amount of products that were available! I started making my list of things I was curious about and asked my niece about every single scent. After much conversation about Scentsy, she asked if I was interested in becoming a consultant instead. Even though she was still learning herself, she explained a lot. I talked to her probably every day for a month about Scentsy before taking the plunge; I'm so glad I did!
My full time job outside of Scentsy is an elementary school Registrar - I work in the front office. The pros? I work less than 5 miles from home. The cons? Summer hours are shortened which means so is my paycheck. As a single parent, this is the part that worries me the most so having this second income is truly a blessing. I'm still working on building my empire and even though my road is slow, I will get there.
After I joined my niece's team, I quickly became interested in learning everything I could. However, Scentsy is always growing so there is always something new to learn. The biggest thing is that Scentsy caters to literally EVERYONE!! Women, men, kids, babies, laundry lines, body lines (perfumes, lotions, soaps, etc), cleaning products, pets...I mean, the list goes on! And everything I have tried so far has been amazing!
What I will NOT do without....washer whiffs! Seriously folks, these little beads of laundry goodness are a must in ANY household. They are THAT good! I love that I don't need to use the complete laundry line to experience the scent but it does make a difference in the strength of it. And the kids love how their clothes smell, too! In fact, they won't do laundry without them!
Bathroom cleaner is my next cleaning item that is amazing! I cleaned houses for 10 years before getting a job at the school. Let me tell you...this stuff works wonders. Soap scum, dirt and grim literally melt away with little to no effort. Besides that, who wants a chemical smell? I'd rather smell the aromas of Scentsy instead!
Wax, of course! I have a variety of warmers in my home and also at work. First thing that people notice when walking into a room? The smell. I alternate fragrances so that I don't become "nose blind" to the variety of scents that Scentsy offers, but clean, fruity smells are my favorite.
The body cream is my absolute favorite of the body line products. I love how the cream feels and it's not a lotion that I have to put on again after each hand wash. That's my favorite part about it! I have the hand soap in my bathrooms and kitchen at home and use it daily. We love it! One small pump is all you need!
Washer Whiffs, Wax, Warmers, Body Cream, Hand Soap, and cleaning products. These items are my personal "must-haves" and the list continues to grow.
